 Reglamento

  1. Organización

La Clásica Puerto Rico se llevará a cabo del 17 al 19 de julio de 2026.

 

  1. Tipo de prueba
  • La competencia se  regirá por el presente Reglamento y por el Reglamento vigente para las pruebas de RUTA de la UCI.
  • Cualquier situación administrativa no prevista en los mismos será resuelta por el Comité Organizador “CO” junto a la COMISIÓN DE CICLISMO DE RUTA y a la Federación de Ciclismo de Puerto Rico “FECIPUR”. El acuerdo que se concluya será inapelable.
  • Cualquier asunto de carácter técnico o competitivo no previsto en este Reglamento será resuelto por un panel de jurado con base en la reglamentación internacional, siendo el fallo inapelable.
  • EL baremo de sanciones de la UCI será el único aplicable.
  • ART. 2.12.007.
  • Los uniformes registrados en la FECIPUR, son los únicos autorizados. Totalmente prohibido el uso de los colores de campeón del mundo, logos de la UCI y COPUR en los respectivos uniformes. Excepto los autorizados por UCI.

La prueba está reservada para ciclistas de las categorías federadas y ciclistas internacionales.

Evento por etapas con acumulación de puntos.

  1. Participación

Podrán participar atletas de manera individual.

Categorías:

Cat 2 Men

Cat 3 Men

Cat 4 Men

Cat 5 Men

Cat 6 Men

Cat 1 - 5 Feminas

  1. Clasificación General individual

Se obtendrá mediante la suma de puntos por posición de llegada de todas las etapas, siendo el mejor clasificado el corredor con la mayor cantidad de puntos acumulados de acuerdo con la posición obtenida en todas las etapas. En caso de empate entre dos o más corredores, se resolverá de acuerdo con las posiciones obtenidas en cada una de las etapas. De persistir el empate, la posición de la última etapa servirá para desempatar.

Nota: Para optar por la clasificación general overall, el atleta debe participar de los 3 días de competencia. El atleta que no participe en los 3 días solo obtendrá el premio del día, pero no clasifica para la clasificación overall.

  1. La puntuación será establecida para los primeros 10 lugares de la tabla de puntuación: 

Primer lugar

20 puntos

Segundo lugar

18 puntos

Tercer lugar

16 puntos

Cuarto lugar

14 puntos

Quinto lugar

12 puntos

Sexto lugar

10 puntos

Séptimo lugar

8 puntos

Octavo lugar

6 puntos

Noveno lugar

4 puntos

6. Free Lap

Free Lap, exclusivamente por rotura de pieza esencial de la bicicleta, pinchazo o caídos, debe ser constatado por el comisario principal y el área asignada por organización para free lap. Desde que comiensa la etapa 1 y 3 hasta faltando 10 minutos de cada evento por categoria.  Etapa 2 NO hay free lap.

7.Abastecimiento

Abastecimiento exclusivamente para las categorías que tienen 60 minutos o más de competencia. Abriendo a los 30 min y cerrando en la ultima vuelta Etapa 1 y Etapa 2. 

8. Premiación

-Todo corredor debe presentarse en la ceremonia de premiación, de no presentarse no recibirá su premiación.

-La premiación en metálico será para las siguientes categorías:

  • Categoria 1
  • Categoria Femenino 
  • Categoria 2

 Nota: Las categorías que componen el grupo Femenino optan por la misma premiación, o sea, es una sola categoría.

-La premiación será en medallas por cada etapa (1, 2 y 3) y trofeos para las primeras 5 posiciones overall para las siguientes categorías:

  • Categoria 1 Masculino
  • Categoria 2 Masculino
  • Categoría Open Mujeres
  • Categoria 3 Masculino
  • Categoria 4 Masculino
  • Categoria 5 Masculino
  • Categoria 6 Masculino

-Para los ciclistas federados puertorriqueños se les estará asignando los puntos correspondientes a cada atleta en su categoría de acuerdo a la clasificación obtenida en el evento con sus pares (categoría federada), los cuales serán sumados al campeonato de puntos de la Comisión de Ciclismo de Ruta de PR y FECIPUR.

Regulation

Organization
The Puerto Rico Classic will occur from July 17 to 19, 2026.

Type of test

  • These regulations and the current Regulations for the UCI ROAD events will regulate and govern the competition.
  • Any administrative situation not provided for in them will be resolved by the Organizing Committee (CO), together with the Road Cycling Commission and the Puerto Rico Cycling Federation (FECIPUR). The agreement concluded will be final.
  • Any matter of a technical or competitive nature not provided for in these Regulations will be resolved by a jury panel based on international regulations, with the decision being final.
  • The UCI sanctions scale will be the only one applicable.


The test is reserved for cyclists in the Federated category and international cyclists.

The event is staged with an accumulation of points.

Participation
Athletes may participate individually and in teams.

Cat 1 - 6 Women

Individual General Classification


It will be obtained by adding points for finishing position of all stages, with the best classified being the rider with the greatest number of points accumulated according to the position obtained in all stages. In the event of a tie between two or more runners, it will be resolved according to the positions obtained in each of the stages. If the tie persists, the position of the last stage will serve to break the tie.

Note: To opt for the overall general classification, the athlete must participate in the 3 days of competition. Athletes who do not participate in the 3 days will only obtain the prize of the day, but will not qualify for the overall classification.



Scoring will be established for the first 10 places on the scoreboard:

Free Lap

Free Lap, exclusively due to breakage of an essential part of the bicycle, puncture, or falls, must be verified by the main commissioner and the area assigned by the organization for a free lap. From the beginning of stages 1 and 3 until 10 minutes are left in each event per category. Stage 2: There is NO free lap.

Feed Zone

Supply exclusively for categories that have 60 minutes or more of competition. Opening at 30 minutes and closing in the last lap of Stage 1 and Stage 3.


11. Award

-Every runner must appear at the award ceremony; if he does not appear, he will not receive the award from him.

-The cash prize will be for the following categories:

  • Categoria 1 Men
  • Categoria 1 - 6 Woman 
  • Categoria 2 Men


Note: The Categories that make up the  Women's groups opt for the same award, that is, it is a single category.

-The awards will be medals for each stage (1,2 and 3) and trophies overall for 1st to 5th place for the following categories:

  • Category 1 Men
  • Category 2 Men
  • Category Women Open 
  • Category 3 Men
  • Category 4 Men
  • Category 5 Men
  • Category 6 Men

-For Puerto Rican federated cyclists, the corresponding points will be assigned to each athlete in their category according to the classification obtained in the event with their peers (federated category). The points will be added to the point championship of the Road Cycling Commission of PR and FECIPUR.
